We host nothing — but we will still act

e621.io stores no images or videos. Every file is served by the booru it came from. The most complete removal is therefore at the source, because that is where the file lives and where every other site pulling from it will keep finding it.

That said, if your work is reachable through this site and you want it gone from here, you do not need to argue the point. Ask and it will be blocked — by post, by artist tag, or entirely. No legal notice is required and no justification is needed; being the artist is enough.

The fast way

Email abuse@e621.io with a link to the post here or on the source site, or your artist tag if you want all of your work excluded. Requests are usually actioned within 72 hours.

Formal notice under the DMCA

If you would rather send a formal notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c), send it to the same address with:

your physical or electronic signature;
identification of the work you say is infringed;
the URL of the material, precise enough for us to locate it;
your address, telephone number and email address;
a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.

Counter-notice and repeat infringers

If material of yours was blocked in error you may send a counter-notice to the same address, with your signature, identification of what was removed, your contact details, and a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake.

Because there are no user accounts and nothing is uploaded here, there is no account to terminate — but any source or tag that generates repeated valid complaints will be blocked at this site permanently.

Other reports

For anything else — material you believe is unlawful, or that depicts a real minor — write to the same address with URGENT in the subject. Such reports are escalated to the source site immediately and the content blocked here on sight.
